Item Specifics:
Set of 11
These decorations are made from a kanekalon fibre and have been heat sealed to ensure they last as long as possible!
This is a set of crochet single and double ended dreadlocks, twisted dreadlocks and braids. They have been decorated in assorted cottons and beads as shown in the photos.
The bright colours will not fade even with washing.
Length - This set is 53-69cm long
.
Decorations extensions can be added to dreadlocks or loose hair for added colour, length or volume. They're a fantastic way to satisfy the urge to dye or change your hair/dreadlocks. The decorations are not added permanently but you can wear them for as long as you choose. They're very easy to self-install and since they're reusable you can wear them time and time again whenever you like! Owning multiple colour combinations is the best way to satisfy that urge for change without changing your dreadlock set long-term.
.
How To Install:
People with dreadlocks -
Each decoration will be added to one of your existing dreadlocks. Simply choose a dreadlock on your head in the area you would like to add a decoration and poke your finger through the base (at the scalp).
.
Double Ended Extensions - Slip one end of the decoration through the base and pull it gently until it reaches the middle. That's all! The decoration will sit in place until you remove it.
The crochet style decorations will grip your dreadlocks and be very reluctant to move.
The smoother style decorations have less grip and may have to be slightly adjusted as they're worn.
Single Ended Extensions - Feed the end of the extension through the loop at the top of extension to create a larger slip-tie loop. Put your dreadlock through the slip-tie loop and move the extension all the way up to your scalp. Pull the end of the extension until it's sitting tight. The extensions will sit around the base of your dreadlock.
People with loose hair -
Section a 1inch x 1inch square on your scalp and clip all remaining hair out hair the way.
Split the section of hair into 2 even parts and place the arched middle of the decoration between them. Simply secure the decoration by doing a three-strand plait using the two sections of your hair and 1 of the sides of the decoration. Once you've plaited the whole length of your hair secure the end to the decoration using a small rubber band. Starting your plait as tight and close to the scalp will ensure the decoration piece stays in much longer. Practise makes perfect!
