Adding Double Ended Extensions to your dreadlocks

.
Adding Double Ended Extensions to your dreadlocks is a great way to add colour or thickness to your dreadlock set without much effort at all, they are also wonderful damage-free ways to add personality to your style.
They are life savers when it comes to satisfying the urge to dye or change your locks.
Another great reason to wear Double Ended Extensions is to add more locks for those with thinner set or you can add longer extensions for a longer layered style!
Other decoration options like directly wrapping cotton onto your dreadlocks can lead to hair breakage or cause your dreadlocks to grow out very bumpy feeling. A dense cotton wrap directly applied to a dreadlock is also a potential for mould growth underneath.

How to install them?
That's the best part! It's so easy!
Simply feed one of the extension ends through the root of one of your dreadlocks and gently pull until you reach the middle. It will sit there until you would like them removed. (see photo below)
Removal is just as easy as pulling one end until the extension slips free from your scalp.

These extensions can be styled any way you choose, they can be washed while they're installed (keep in mind the extra weight from the extensions) and due to them being synthetic material they will not fade colour unlike human hair!

Creating a collection
Creating a collection of decorations is a very fun task over time. By keeping all your extension in the one place you will slowly accumulate a collection of different colours and styles. This is fun because we are always celebrating and representing different events which can be shown through our hair! If you're sick of blues than it only takes under 5 minutes to change your full set to purples!
